I was born in Windsor NSW on the 2nd October 1949. My mother was Winifred Dorothy Grace France (nee Francis) born 6 June 1911 in Newcastle. My father was Hubert Newman France born 8 December 1917 at Junee.

Our address was 82 George Street Windsor which is the old house over the road from The Macquarie Arms Hotel.

I started schooling at Windsor Public then onto Richmond High. I was an average student but liked my sports . My life as a child will always be embedded in my mind as the most wonderful times.
I spent countless hours down the river with mates we swam played war games built canoes and then sank them lots more of which as time goes by I will add to this page.
