Corrimal Beach Nov 2010
This was an exciting trip for us a test
run in our caravan getting up and
down steep hills and learning how the car would pull the caravan on these
roads.
Corrimal Beach is a gem of
a place and we booked a spot at the Corrimal Beach Tourist Park which is very
close to the beach.
The Park has
playground facilities for children, clean facilities with plenty of caravan and
camping space, we were very happy with our spot. It was an easy walk to the beach with several tracks from
the park to the beach or you could walk down to the surf club and onto the
beach.
Right on the beach is a
small lagoon which provides ideal paddling for children and the shallow water
is very popular.
When we were
visiting a man had quite a few miniature boats moving around in this lagoon
they were great.
Only having the two days we did not venture
far and we thoroughly enjoyed our strolls along the beach in the morning.
We had a visit from family we was most
enjoyable and also watched the surf life savers doing training in the long boats
this was fantastic and on our way back to the caravan a couple of black
cockatoos flew down near us in the trees we found this great, beautiful birds.
