The Entrance NSW-Australia Day 2007

The Entrance is a great place for a young family the main park is a hive of activity every weekend, stalls, markets, entertainment at the open air Sails Stage and Vera’s Water Garden which the kids love in the mall.

Tuggerah Lake is just around the corner where hire boats are available, beaches The Entrance, Shelley, Toowoon and Bateau Bay nor far away and in low tide climbing over the rocks and inspecting many rock pools keeps young children busy for hours.

We decided to have Australia Day at The Entrance in 2007 and we were not disappointed.

The sun was out The Entrance was busy with sunbathers with multi colored umbrellas, kite flying which added to the vibrant color of the day.

At The Entrance Memorial Park there was wood chopping, mini train rides, lots of stalls and of course in the mid afternoon the wonderful Pelican Feeding which is a daily ritual.

Night time brought on the wonderful fireworks, the sky was lit up and it was just magic a wonderful day.
